Colton is now 5 months old! He can sit up pretty well, enjoys being on his tummy and giggles a lot. There are so many little things he can do now: chow on rice cereal, reach with out stretched arms when wanting to be held, nuzzle when feeling shy, flirt with almost anyone who smiles at him, play with his feet, put objects into his mouth. He's just growing up right before my eyes.

My mom, Colton and I recently went to Orlando for my Aunt Kelley's baby shower. Colton was absolutely amazing on the plane - no crying at all and he did it drug free. He had one major meltdown our last night there, but other than that he was incredible. Yet the most wonderful part of the trip was seeing Michael in the airport. If Colton could have run, he would have leapt into his daddy's arms the moment he saw him. His eyes just sparkled and he was grinning from ear to ear when he saw Michael. It made me want to cry. They couldn't keep their eyes off each other. Truly a special moment.

Colton did get his first cold today (maybe it was the snow we got on Friday). He's a little stuffed up and coughs occassionally. He's not too sick, but definitely not 100%. We'll see how it goes.
